Resonance, a multi-layered project by María Magdalena Campos-Pons and Kamaal Malak, opens in Venice on May 10, 2026, bringing together an exhibition, public program series, and sonic listening sessions. Presented by Vanderbilt University’s Engine for Art, Democracy and Justice (EADJ), the project unfolds alongside the Venice Biennale 2026 and reflects a shared commitment to global artistic dialogue, particularly across the Global South(s). Curated by Grace Aneiza Ali and Selene Wendt, Resonance gathers artists, scholars, and performers across generations and geographies in a space centered on listening, exchange, and connection.
Hosted at Fondazione Giorgio e Armanda Marchesani in the Dorsoduro district, the exhibition features participants from 15 countries across five continents, spanning eight decades of artistic practice.
